Starting at the age of 15 years, tattooing has been Colin’s life - becoming one of the pioneers of tattooing in Australia, creating the foundation for what would become the booming industry that it is today. Colin has been producing high quality art and tattoos for over three decades, and having been one of the primary feature artists in the early days of some of the worlds most prestigious tattoo magazines, Colin has always been at the forefront of a collection of artists spurring the industry to grow. Always keeping up with the trends and maintaining his skills for all the traditional styles, he has built a new level of love and respect for lettering and larger scale tattoos in both colour or black and grey. With that being said, as his love for tattooing has grown, so has it for the auto industry, so he can never say no to portraits of trucks or cars - as they are his hobbies away from the shop. Colin has proven to be one of the powerhouse artists driving the industry over the course of the last 30 years and continues to do so, with True Addiction Tattoo being his latest and greatest contribution as what continues to be one of Melbourne's premier studios.

Born and bred in Melbourne, Snow started tattooing locally 3 years ago, before spending some time at a range of different studios expanding his client base. He’s now chosen to settle down with us here at True Addiction as a resident artist, offering a unique style to our spread of artists! He specialises in abstract blackwork (and anything with a lot of red) as well as cyber geometric & alien inspired designs! In Snow’s area you might hear some drum & bass playing, you’ll see mostly black and red as well as the coolest high-tech items he can get his hands on! Steph began as a piercer with us in 2021 after moving down from Sydney, then started her tattoo apprenticeship shortly after. She loves all things spooky and dark, leaning towards realism, blackwork and a bit of neo-tribal here and there. In Steph’s area you’ll see a lot of spiders (drawings of course), skulls and maybe some vegan chocolate hiding somewhere! Valentina started apprenticing with us towards the end of 2022 and has been experimenting with different styles of tattoos before finding her own specialised aesthetic. She grew up in Colombia, but has been living in Australia for 10 years and is happy to call Melbourne home. She loves tattooing cartoon characters, and cute designs that make you feel warm and fuzzy! Dani did her initial piercing training in early 2019, with many follow ups and advanced training days in following the years, building up to a broad skill set of procedures. She is originally from Adelaide, lived in Sydney for 6 years and is now our resident piercer at True Addiction. Her favourites to do are lip piercings or dermals, but is always keen for a styling consultation to deck out your ears! Brooklyn has been with us since August 2022 and is at the beginning of their piercing journey. They’ve always had a love for all things body art and the body modification industry, and is working towards being a stand out in curating unique and alternative piercing looks. They love to pierce eyebrows the most, but, they’re also here to help plan out your ears or pick some shiny new jewellery!
